Showing one's best face to the world sometimes requires wearing makeup. Just as wearing nice clothes helps a person look professional and attractive, so too can makeup improve the way an otherwise average person looks. Buying makeup should be viewed as an easy, inexpensive, and fun way to enhance looks and improve self-esteem.
